We loved our stay at this hostel! the facilities were great - clean kitchens available 24/7, extra bathrooms and showers on both floors. the pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They provided recommendations for things to do in the area, including a hidden gem waterfall and a free rope swing. the atmosphere was buzzing with backpackers, and the dorms had air conditioning. it was a fantastic bargain and a great place to meet people!
We felt very well looked after, no complaints.

Great staff, private dorm room, 24/7 kitchen access, comfortable pillows. Good location, budget-friendly. Big common areas, clean kitchen. Short walk to city center. Nice place to meet people, pleasant atmosphere. Recommended hike, beautiful lake for swimming.

The staff at Arenal Sloth were friendly and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. The hostel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The shared kitchen was a nice bonus, although it could get crowded during peak periods. it was an affordable and comfortable place to stay.

had an amazing summer stay in la fortuna, and Arenal Sloth exceeded expectations! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a great location near the town. Loved the group whatsapp to plan activities with other guests. Highly recommend the restaurant next door!

The common areas at the hostel were fantastic, with plenty of space to hang out and mingle with other travelers. The kitchen was also a highlight, as it was large and well-equipped for cooking and eating. It was great to have clean and comfortable accommodations, and the staff were friendly and helpful. the hostel was conveniently located within walking distance of the main center, making it easy to explore the city.
There were a few minor inconveniences during my stay. For one, the kitchen didn't have enough utensils for the number of people staying at the hostel.
